It is always interesting to consider: What does technology do to our writing process? How does it shape what we write? How does it change the way we compose? Or does it? I used a music app called Musyc to make the soundtrack here, and then used the soundtrack as inspiration for the poem (as opposed to the other way around).
April is National Poetry month and the perfect excuse to inspire your students with poetry no matter what subject you teach. Try posting a short poem on the board related to the topic of the day, such as the science haikus found @Sciencehaiku. Read the post for more great tips and resources!
To celebrate National Poetry Month, each day of April there will be a new poem to read or listen to on our blog! By the end of the month that means you will have read or heard 30 different poems!
